A friend is one who's always there when we need 'em and and one who drives loneliness away. A true friend is the perfect antidote for all problems. Even if a friend stays miles apart, distance does not come in the way of a true friendship. There's no reason to fear, when you have a friend by your side. When you are feeling low, a good friend will always be beside you; he will be a guiding star. A friend's love and care will always be endless, come what may!

Old friends are like old wine. They get better and stronger with every passing day! You make new friends as you move on with life, but you cannot possibly break up with your old friends. We need our childhood or school friends even when we grow up and get burdened with life. Friends whom we grow up with are like an oasis in a desert. They are a haven for troubled souls and a refuge for many problems.
In these troubled times, it is easy to make friends, but it is very difficult to maintain a true friendship. Only if you are really lucky, you'll get a trusted friend. In the 21st century, it is hard to find a trusted friend, who stands by you. People claim to be friendly, but real friendship is time tested. Friends went on entertaining viewers worldwide for ten long seasons(1994-2004), having launched on 22nd September, 1994. This TV-series became everyone's favorite, as it fascinated young and old with its rib tickling humor and fairytale romance. The plot was fairly simple, revolving around lives, loves, and laughs of six young friends living in Manhattan.
The sitcom starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, playing Rachel Green, Monica Geller, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, Dr. Ross Geller, respectively. It gained tremendous popularity worldwide and went on to win several awards, including the Golden Globe. Six young characters, as shown in the series, struggle to survive in the real world, find companionship, comfort and support from each other. Hello guys! Friendship Day is all about having fun! And what is fun without yummy food? Plan out your Friendship Day fun with friends and mouthwatering food. Since hot dogs are everybody's favorite food item, here's a lip smacking hot dog recipe-
Barbecued Hot Dogs
Ingredients: 3/4 C. chopped onion, 3 T. butter, 1-1/2 C. chopped celery, 1-1/2 C. ketchup, 3/4 C. water, 1/3 C. lemon juice, 3 T. brown sugar, 3 T. vinegar, 1 T. Worcestershire sauce, 1 T. yellow mustard, 2 packages Hot Dogs, 16 hot dog buns, split.
Direction: Take a saucepan and saute onion in butter over medium heat. Saute it until it becomes tender. Add celery, ketchup, water, lemon juice, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. On side of each hot dog, make three 1/4 inch deep slits; place in a 2-1/2 quart baking dish. Now pour the sauce over the hot dogs. Cover and bake at 350°F. for 40-45 minutes or until heated through.

Cool MySpace Friendship Comments & Code. Here.I think my favorite friendship quote from Harry Potter is Albus Dumbledore saying "It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends." in The Philosopher's Stone.
And it's really true. With enemies it's easy and it's obvious you just have to stand up to them. Period. With friends it's a bit harder because you have to choose. And choosing to be against your friends is not an easy thing -- no matter what age we're in. I love Harry Potter because it's not just about growing up and facing extraordinary circumstances -- that's the fun part. Harry Potter is also about friendships and how you treat people. How you treat your friends and how you're there for them. After all that's what friendship is all about isn't it? There's a couple of my favorite quotes between friends from Harry Potter. One of them is the conversation between Ron and Hermonie:

With Friendship Day just round the corner Posh and Paris add a new meaning to it. Sources report that Even though Paris claims to be ‘soulmates’ with Posh, but, Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice completely disassociates herself from Paris Hilton, who served a term in jail, as it might have negative consequences on her career!But can someone gain rave reviews and prove her worth just by denying companionship? Linda Stasi of the New York Post gave Victoria's American TV debut "no stars" and labeled it "an orgy of self-indulgence", while The New York Times' Alessandra Stanley described her as a "rich idiotic It girl".
