Hello guys! Friendship Day is all about having fun! And what is fun without yummy food? Plan out your Friendship Day fun with friends and mouthwatering food. Since hot dogs are everybody's favorite food item, here's a lip smacking hot dog recipe-
Barbecued Hot Dogs
Ingredients: 3/4 C. chopped onion, 3 T. butter, 1-1/2 C. chopped celery, 1-1/2 C. ketchup, 3/4 C. water, 1/3 C. lemon juice, 3 T. brown sugar, 3 T. vinegar, 1 T. Worcestershire sauce, 1 T. yellow mustard, 2 packages Hot Dogs, 16 hot dog buns, split.
Direction: Take a saucepan and saute onion in butter over medium heat. Saute it until it becomes tender. Add celery, ketchup, water, lemon juice, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. On side of each hot dog, make three 1/4 inch deep slits; place in a 2-1/2 quart baking dish. Now pour the sauce over the hot dogs. Cover and bake at 350°F. for 40-45 minutes or until heated through.
